Significant demand for growth within Widex’s Software Development department highlighted our challenges of ﬁnding talented developers at a reasonable cost. Finding enough talented developers became a priority in itself. Through an extensive research phase, looking at different outsourcing models, it became clear that a ’Nearshoring part of a team model’ facilitated by INSCALE would solve their needs.
Widex chose to hire their own 4 teams with INSCALE in Macedonia and increased the scope of work. This Nearshore model gives them access to a larger pool of highly competent candidates which can be used across several product divisions and projects within Widex. The fully integrated nearshore team has added great value to the Danish organisation. INSCALE has been helpful in outlining the process, in particular the dos and don'ts in hiring and onboarding new staff in a nearshore location
